Selection of Best Suitable Eco-Friendly Refrigerants for HVAC Sector and Renewable Energy Devices

This paper investigates the selection of best suitable eco-friendly organic and in-organic refrigerants for heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) renewable energy devices. Inorganic are used to cool devices, such as solar cells, photovoltaics, electronic Owing community’s importance, development in this area has rapidly improved over past few years. R134a, R404, R717 have become most HVAC sector supermarkets across globe both cooling frozen food refrigeration. R134a R404A two significant drawbacks: (a) they do not attain optimal efficiency many applications, (b) a large global warming potential (GWP). Hence, optimization experiments were performed select low replacing from using multi-criteria making (MCDN) tools. The techniques investigation involved (i) technique order preference by similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS), (ii) evaluation based on distance average (EDAS), (iii) multi-objective ratio analysis (MOORA). assessment criteria thermo–physical properties refrigerants, environmental aspects economic status refrigerants. Out 27 chosen study, R290 (PROPANE) aced all three techniques, i.e., TOPSIS, EDAS, MOORA, with scores 0.6056, 0.6761, 0.466, respectively. R41 (FLUOROMETHANE) is least preferred refrigerant EDAS (assessment score—0.3967) while R407C TOPSIS value—0.5123). likelihood bad decision may be reduced effective MCDM analysis. In conclusion, suggested provides practical tool systematic way reducing number options utilized identify refrigerant.
